Fir tree honey is a rare variety that corresponds to merely 5-7% of the Greek honey production. It has a low moisture content and a pH level that is greater than that of other honey categories. It has a particularly good taste, deep aroma that brings to mind the woods, a distinctive aspect, a slightly dark colour and a rather solid texture. Thanks to its low glycemic index, it does not crystallise. Keep in a cool shaded place.
